Joy

Greetings! It is our pleasure to be with you this evening and to bring to you an understanding of the Self within and the knowledge that your true Self is the limitless joy that resides within you.

This joy does not come from what you seek outside of yourself. This joy is truly within you. But because it is your perception that colors your world, if you are to know joy in your world, you must first know the joy within yourself.

Know joy and be joyful and thus bring this joy into your experience. It is from within the well of your being that this joy springs forth. It is deep within you, buried by your ego, by your beliefs and by your conditioning. Allow it to seep through the crevices of your mind. Allow it to spring forth from your heart.

Do not judge the appearance of joy. Simply seek joy and you will find it. Allow it to flow forth from the deep recesses in the caverns within you. Yes, you are bound in the illusion that you have created for yourself. But there are wells within you, crevices in which the joy of your inner love and light, can seep to the surface much as the water that is within your earth seeps forth and surfaces in bubbling springs of pure essence, pure water that nourishes you.

So too does your joy bubble up from deep within. It flows forth as a prompting from your inner self reminding you of your true identity. Do not subdue or block the expression of this joy by your belief in the falsehoods propagated by those who seek to keep you in bondage. Do not let the judgment of others or your doubts and fears to inhibit the flow of this inner joy. Do not let your perception of the outward appearances of your world block the expression of your inner self, your joy. Instead, allow its purity to spring forth and to flow into your life and into your world. Allow this and expect it. It is quite natural.

This joy springs forward, coming from that inner source which is you. It is the song of your soul awakening you to all that you are and all that you are being in your present moment. So if you see before you something that appears to be of sorrow, look again. Look deeply within and find the message of joy in your experience. Look at your sorrow. Bring that sorrow within, and as you do this allow it to transform. Allow the purity and the perfection that is present in the manifestation of all life to spring forth and be revealed in all your outer experience. This change in perception will  transform the sorrow into joy.

What you first see as a sorrow may truly bring to you the freedom of joy. Transform that sorrow by changing your perception. View that sorrow from the perspective of the complete whole of the experience. See that particular sorrow  as a part of the Oneness of all things. If you do this you will discover the role that sorrow may be playing in moving us closer to the understanding of the unity of all and the importance of all life. This will transform sorrow into joy.

So choose to see the joy that lies behind the appearance of sorrow in your world. There is magic in your perception. You have the power of choice. Allow this alchemy of spirit to transform you and your world will be transformed.
