The Winter Solstice

Greetings! It is our great pleasure to be here with you on this day of ancient celebration. The Yule or Winter Solstice is connected to the cycles of the earth, the cycling of growth and rebirth that is beginning now as the light enters your planet and grows in intensity. We would say that this is significant at this time for there is a great influx of light that is being moved and directed throughout your planet finding its new home in the mountains of the southern hemisphere in South America upon your planet.

So it is significant at this time not only because of the natural cycles that have occurred from the beginnings of time when your planet began to sustain life, the birth of your planet as you know it. It is also being celebrated because it signifies the light that creates and brings new growth to your planet. This is what is known as the Child of Promise.

Begin to allow yourself to let go of what you are presently identifying with as your personality, those imaginings of who you are. As you let go of that and begin to move within the cycles of Nature, you will learn to make still the patterns of your mind. Only by quieting the mind will you begin to feel what it is that is beyond your thought processes. By allowing yourself to simply “be” and to move with the cycles of Nature, you will discover who it is that you truly are. This experience is beyond all thought, beyond all images. You are that “Is ness” that cannot be described. It is the experience of the “No Thing”, the eternal circle of life that is without beginning or end. It is the Presence that you are. It is that Child of Promise that lies within and makes up all forms but is not the form. It is that formless Energy out of which all form is created.

It is a wise man that allows the cycles within your living planet and solar system to speak of that Eternal Presence that is Who You Are. You are that which is formless. To find that Presence within you look to what the ancients have practiced, for they recognized that Presence by allowing themselves to celebrate the continuing cycles of Nature. For as you flow with those cycles you allow yourself to go beyond thought and form and to feel what it is that you are. For the awe and the beauty that is within these cycles brings you into a knowing of your connection beyond the form. It stills your busy mind and quiets your thoughts so that through that stillness there is a recognition of what lies beyond.

As that Presence awakens within you, you are born into your true selfhood and are able to affect great change throughout your world. So in this time when darkness transitions into light, allow that Presence to be with you. Recognize your true self and celebrate the magnificence of all creation. Your heart will open. You will no longer identify with the forms that you see. You will recognize the “Is ness” within that form and you will be blessed and you will bless all with your Presence!
